To focus on just one window when several are open, just shake it.

Left click and hold the top of the window pane and shake your mouse. Every open window except that one instantly disappears. Jiggle again—and your windows all come back.

To peek at your desktop, move your cursor to the peek button, (the rectangle to the right of your clock at the end of the taskbar.) As you hover over it, all open windows will become transparent, showing your desktop. Left click on the peek button and all open windows will instantly minimize, (this is also called the “Boss button.”) Click again, and they all come back.

Depending on where you drag a window, you can make it expand vertically, take up the entire screen, or appear side-by-side with another window.

To snap: left click and hold the top of a window pane and drag it to the left, right or center to snap it into place. Drag it back to the center to set it back to the original size.

To take a screen shot press CTRL and Print Scrn/SysRq in the upper right hand corner of your keyboard. You have now taken a picture of your screen. Now you can paste it into a blank word document, paint program, or compose a new email. Paste it in by pressing CTRL and the letter V at the same time.

Please join us on Saturday, August 13 at Walmart Ke‘eamoku from 9am to 3pm. We will be launching our fundraising drive to raise money for new laptop computers and will be offering free computer classes. Our goal is to raise $4,000 to purchase 6 new laptops. Our current equipment is nearly seven years old and is in dire need of being replaced. We heavily rely on these computers to bring our custom, thematic curriculum to the various school sites and community centers we service.

If you would like to support our fundraising drive but are not able to make it in person, we welcome donations online or by mail.

Our fundraising drive will end with an event on Monday, August 30th with a fundraiser at California Pizza Kitchen Kahala Mall. Print this flyer and present it to your server. 20% of your check will be donated to us.
